Burnham-On-Sea Tesco staff get on their bikes for charity challenge

-

Staff at Burnham-On-Sea’s Tesco supermarket have been pedaling hundreds of miles for charity this month.

They have been taking part in a nationwide ‘Million Mile Challenge’ in which Tesco staff across the UK aim to raise a million pounds for charity.

Matt Stitch, Burnham’s Tesco Deputy Store Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Every mile cycled on the exercise bike at the entrance to our store is raising £1 for Tesco’s charities, with Diabetes UK, the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK benefiting.”

“Our staff here in Burnham have been wonderful and have cycled 350 miles so far, raising £350.”
