Scores of tennis players of all ages flocked to Burnham-On-Sea’s Avenue Tennis Club at the weekend for an event to mark the 2016 Great British Tennis Weekend.
Julie Williams, Head Coach at the club, said it had been a very successful afternoon with many new faces coming along to try out the sport.
Another Great British Tennis Weekend open afternoon will be held on Saturday 16th July from 1pm which will coincide with the Great Britain Davis Cup tie against Serbia when a TV will be setup for all to follow the match.
