Burnham-On-Sea Freemasons have raised hundreds of pounds for a local hospice by holding a successful afternoon tea event.
The event, at the town’s Baptist Church in College Street, was held on Thursday with all proceeds going to St. Margaret’s Hospice.
Burnham’s Mayor Cllr Bill Hancock and Mayoress Cllr Frances Hancock were the VIP guests at the event.
Cakes, teas and coffees were served up and a raffle was also be held during the afternoon.
One of the organisers, John Chinn, thanked all those who’d attended, adding that a final figure will be known soon.
