Burnham-On-Sea Tae-Kwon-Do enthusiast Matt Palfrey is heading to the British Championships this month, fresh from his latest success.
Matt, who trains at Burnham-On-Sea’s T.A.G.B. Tae-Kwon-Do Club, competed in patterns and sparring at the Southern Championships held in Torbay.
Senior club instructor Jane Lambert told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There were over 350 students taking part in lots of different categories.”
“The competition was tough and Matt worked incredibly hard to win a bronze medal in the men’s black belt sparring.”
“This is great preparation for the British Championships being held in October at the prestigious Birmingham Arena.”
She added: “If you are looking for a great way to improve your fitness, make new friends and challenge yourself, Tae Kwon-Do is definitely the answer!”
The club trains every Tuesday and Thursday evening at King Alfred School in Highbridge when men, women and children of all ages and abilities are very welcome.
