Burnham-On-Sea Swimming Club has held its first gala with outside clubs at Brean Splash.
The ‘Three Winter Series Galas’ finished on a high with trophies, a fun relay and spot prizes.
In this third gala of the series Burnham Swimming Club finished third with nine personal best times.
There were a number of members who had not swum all week due to illness but came and swam at this gala to whom we owe a big thank you.
The result was Norton Radstock 160, Wellington 146, Burnham-On-Sea 106, Bridgwater 95. The club finished third in the series and there were a total of 41 individual best times and one club record gained. The final result was Norton Radstock 484, Wellington 438, Burnham-On-Sea 329, Bridgwater 265.
“Burnham Swimming Club would like to thank the parents, helpers and swimmers for their support throughout 2013,” said a spokesman.
