BBC broadcaster Mike Dilger will be the celebrity host at a fun-filled auction and ball in aid of local charity Secret World Wildlife Rescue next month.
Secret World is inviting friends, supporters and wildlife-lovers to its largest fundraising event of the year, hosted by BBC presenter Mike Dilger.
Every year, the charity hosts an annual ball with proceeds going back to the continued care of injured wildlife.
This year’s theme is Cirque de Secret World, and the evening is set to include two auctions – one silent – with over 100 items on sale and a three-course meal.
Guests will be treated to a magic show in between courses and there’ll be a casino for the adults to enjoy.
After the meal, guests will be able to burn off their puddings on the disco dance floor and be entertained by a David Ford tribute act until the early hours.
Pauline Kidner, founder of Secret World Wildlife Rescue, tolod Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s a great opportunity to have a fantastic night out with friends and family, but also to help orphaned and injured wildlife in the process.”
“As always, the profits raised from the evening will go towards the care of our casualties.”
The ball is being held on Saturday 13th October at the Webbington Hotel in Loxton, Somerset, BS26 2HU from 6.30pm to 1am. The dress code is ‘dress to impress’, and there will be a prize for the best fancy dress.
Tickets are £45 per person and a table of 10 will receive two complimentary bottles of wine. Gold, silver and bronze corporate sponsorship packages are available. Tickets are selling fast and the last day to buy a ticket is Friday 5th October. To book a ticket, visit www.secretworld.org or call Samantha on 01278 783250 for further information.
