Final Burnham-On-Sea RNLI lifeboat open day before Christmas
Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat supporters group will be opening up the RNLI station to enthusiasts and local residents for the last time before Christmas this Saturday (December 4th) between 10am and 1pm.
Following on from the success of the open day on Saturday 28th November when over one hundred pounds was raised inside the lifeboat station gates, visitors will be able to buy RNLI Christmas cards and calendars (well sought after items) once more before Christmas.
Burnham-On-Sea Lifeboat Press Officer Mike Lang said: “The RNLI is completely dependant upon voluntary donations and legacies for its income, and every penny received is greatly appreciated.”
He added; “Visitors to the station are always welcome as long as they accept that we are in operational status and liable to be called upon at any time.”
