A Burnham-On-Sea health and beauty shop re-opened to customers on Saturday (January 20th) with a brand new look and name.
AS Watson, the owners, announced earlier this month that 200 of its 424 Savers stores across the UK are being rebranded as Superdrug this year.
And Burnham’s High Street store is one of the first to get the new look. It has been closed for a fortnight while new products, shelving and a new shopfront have been introduced.
The store re-opened for business at 9am on Saturday – and Debbie Morgan was welcomed as the first customer by store supervisor Andrea Christie, as pictured here.
Superdrug has set aside £10 million for the nationwide rebranding exercise. It also plans to rapidly expand its operation with its total number of branches expected to reach 962 by the end of 2008.
