Plans to hold a youth weekend in Burnham-On-Sea have been given a boost this week.
Sunspot Amusements has been announced as the main sponsor for the event, which will take place on July 13th.
One of the organisers, Jonathan Smith, said: “Sunspot Amusements on the seafront in Burnham regularly support local events and we are delighted they are backing this youth weekend which will promote youth groups within Burnham and Highbridge.”
“A thank you must also go to our other sponsors, O2 Think Big, Community Games and Somerset Youth and Community Service.”
The weekend will begin with a parade of youth groups from 11.30am on July 13th through the town and along the seafront where youth organisations will be showcasing their talents.
“This will be an ideal opportunity for youth groups to promote their groups, gain membership and fundraise,” added Jonathan.
