These were the stunning early morning colours in the skies over Burnham-On-Sea this week.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reader David Pusill took the colourful shots over Burnham’s Cross Street.
Dan Williams, a Met Office spokesman, said: “Red skies at night and in the morning are a result of rays of light from the sun being scattered by dust and other particles in the atmosphere.”
Mr Williams said: “These particles scatter the blues and indigos of the spectrum around the atmosphere, leaving behind the oranges and reds.”
