A Burnham-On-Sea charity shop is appealing for help in tracing the owners of several family photo albums which may have been handed in by accident.
Sue Ryder Care in the High Street is keen to get in contact with the owners of three photo albums full of old family photographs.
Shop Manageress Helen Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It appears to be a whole history of a family from the pre-1900’s to the 1970’s. It would be a terrible shame to sell this in the shop before the relatives have had a look or been given the chance to reclaim them.”
“We can’t quite understand why someone has given them away, and it could possibly have been a mistake.”
“The photos appear to be of George and Lena Isgar and a related family from Wedmore. The albums seem to have belonged to a Mrs A Pople (Nettie is the nickname used) and there are postcards inside addressed to her.”
