Fast food giant Subway will open its new High Street store in Burnham-On-Sea next week.
The sandwich shop will open to the public during the week commencing January 18th, it confirmed.
Subway franchise holder Mike Bond told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Final work to renovate the building is underway and we are on track to open our doors.”
Subway’s regional boss, Simon Holmes, added: “We’re delighted to be able to confirm the opening of our Burnham store which follows a long search for a premises in the town.”
Ten jobs are being created at the store, and Mr Bond said scores of applicants had applied for the positions.
Subway will open at 21 The High Street in place of the former Palmers butchers shop, which shut down last summer.
