Burnham-On-Sea doctor takes on marathon fundraising challenge

-

A Burnham-On-Sea doctor is pulling on his running shoes to raise funds for a local hospice.

Dr Stuart Anderson, a GP at Burnham Medical Centre, is in training to run the Robin Hood Marathon in Nottingham on 11th September.

“I enjoy running, and usually run the Burnham half marathon most years, but this is a bit more of a challenge,” Stuart told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week.

“I am trying to raise money for Weston Hospicecare, a vital resource for patients in this area.”

Stuart, pictured here while training on Burnham beach this week, has set up an online donations page here for supporters to pledge money. Donations can also be made in person at the surgery in Love Lane.
