Members of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Stroke Club marked the 20th anniversary of the group with a celebratory event on Tuesday (July 8th).
Burnham’s Deputy Mayor Derrick Cooper was the special guest at the event, pictured, and praised the group for its important work over the last two decades.
The event also included a cake cutting ceremony and the presentation of flowers to the organisers, Barbara Thorogood and Cath Berry.
One of those present, Cllr Arthur Thorogood, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a good turnout of people to celebrate an important milestone for the group and everyone had a great time.”
