Forecasters are warning of heavy rain and strong winds across the Burnham-On-Sea area this morning (Monday).
The Met Office says gusty winds, accompanied by heavy rain, will move eastwards across the region.
Gales are likely around coasts and high ground and this, say forecaters, could cause disruption.
“The public should be aware of the potential for travel disruption from the winds as well as standing water on the roads and reduced visibility from spray and driving rain,” said a spokesman.
Gusts of 50-60 mph are expected in the area. As the system moves eastwards across the UK later on Monday morning the winds will ease.
