A busy road in Burnham-On-Sea was closed for several hours today (Wednesday December 2nd) following a car accident.
Stoddens Road was shut by police after a two-car collision on the bend near the entrance to the town’s BASC rugby ground.
A large amount of oil was spilt and officers sealed off the road, as pictured here, and put diversions in place due to the slippery conditions.
Police spokeswoman Claire Stanley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were informed of a two vehicle road traffic collision on Stoddens Road at around 12pm this afternoon. No-one was injured.”
