The driver of this car had a lucky escape after his vehicle careered off a Burnham road and ended up at the bottom of a ditch on Wednesday morning (December 5th).
Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to Stoddens Lane after the driver lost control of the Toyota vehicle near the railway bridge.
“The scene was taped off, but the road itself was not closed,” police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “The male occupant did not require any medical treatment.”
Stoddens Lane has become an accident blackspot in recent years with several accidents occurring along the narrow lane.
