Burnham-On-Sea’s Stoddens Lane will be closed to traffic for a week from today (Monday, April 11th) while flood prevention work is carried out.
The Axe Brue Drainage Board is due to install a new culvert under the road.
The road will be closed to traffic travelling along Stoddens Lane from the junction with Inner Farm Lane, south-eastwards for a distance of 93 metres.
An alternative route is in force through this week, taking traffic along Queen’s Drive and Love Lane instead.
