Motorists travelling along a busy route into Burnham-On-Sea faced long delays on Thursday evening (September 15th) following a two vehicle accident.
Two cars collided near the entrance to Stoddens Lane and Queen’s Drive.
Fire, police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene shortly before 6pm and the road was closed for around 30 minutes at the height of the busy rush hour period.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that no-one had been trapped in the vehicles and that the injuries of those in the vehicles was not thought to be life-threatening.
