Drama group brings hilarious comedy play to Berrow this November

-

Tickets are on sale for a comedy play to be held in Berrow in November.

Stage 2 Drama Presents “Funny You Should Ask, Doctor – The Lighter Side of Medicine” at Berrow Village Hall on November 17th, 18th and 19th.

The evening of comedy is sure to be a hit with audiences.

“There will be comedy sketches and a short comedy drama performance on a medical theme with tongue-in-cheek relationship issues a-plenty,” said a spokesman.

“There’s classic doctors and nurses, disgruntled patients and not to mention a tricky case of multiple inflammatory women on the warpath.”

“We will also be providing a themed quiz in the interval and light supper to bolster you for the second half of comical drama trauma.”

“We guarantee to raise your blood pressure and tickle your funny bones, but we promise that you (probably) won’t die laughing… and if you DO, we can at least provide enough untrained fake medics to fill the cast of a blue light emergency medical soap opera!”

Tickets are now available, by phone on 01278 782319 or 01278 795619 or by reserving online here. Tickets cost £8.50 including food and quiz.

The performances will be held at Berrow Village Hall in Parsonage Road, Berrow, with doors opening at 7pm and shows beginning at 7.30pm.

There will be a bar and any part of any profit will go to the village hall charity.
