Police have arrested four men following an early morning stabbing at this road junction in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (June 20th).
Police were called to the junction of Cassis Close and Burnham Road at around 3.30am after receiving reports that a young man, inirially thought to be a teenager, had been stabbed.
Blood was found on the tarmac – and several teams of police and scene of crime investigators were seen gathering evidence throughout Saturday, as pictured here.
Talking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, police spokesman Martin Dunscombe said: “We were called to the scene at 4am to reports of a stabbing.”
“A male was found with an injury to his arm and taken to Weston General Hospital, where he is in a stable condition.”
Mr Dunscombe confirmed: “Four men have been arrested and all are in custody.”
