Faulty speed camera flashing constantly shocks drivers near Burnham

-

A faulty speed camera near Burnham-On-Sea has been constantly flashing its main light every few seconds this week, surprising passing motorists.

The camera on the A38 at Rooksbridge has been leading to confused motorists slowing down even more than usual.

One theory is that it was struck by lightning during the storms that passed through our area on Tuesday.

Avon and Somerset Police spokeswoman Emma Russell told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We can confirm that it has been reported to us and we have liaised with our contractors who will be going to fix it as soon as they can.”
