Burnham-On-Sea Carnival spectators will be able to vote for entries using phone app

-

Spectators at this year’s Burnham-On-Sea Carnival will be able to vote for their favourite entry using a mobile phone app.

The new “CarniApp” is available in the Google Play Store for Android users and the Apple App Store for iphone/ipad users.

The Highbridge and Burnham Carnival section of the app features details of the carnival, plus procession entries, route, and a chance to vote for your favourite entry.

The winner of the App vote will be awarded the special trophy “The People’s Choice” award. Users will have 24 hours to vote, from 7.30pm on Monday 4th November until 7.30pm on Tuesday 5th November.

This is the second year of our Carnival App and we are keen to see the use of it increase so we can develop it further, so give it a try!

The Carnival Committee would like to thank Ian James and the team at i2i Infinity who offered to produce the new Carnival App for us.

Bradley Loveridge, Highbridge and Burnham Carnival Chief Marshal, said: “It’s a great way to get involved with the carnival and be a judge and pick your favourite entry!”

“Every vote matters, last year saw Marketeers Carnival Club receive the trophy with their entry, Consider Yourself.”
