The kindergarten’s Sandra Hodges told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a “great success, enjoyed by all”.
She added: “We had a wonderful Garden party to celebrate 45 years of Southleigh, opened by the Mayor with a fantastic children’s parade and we welcomed a Fire Engine, local PCSO and BARB. Despite the downpours, the children enjoyed the bouncy castle and slide, lucky dip, treasure hunt and making bunting.”
“Many famillies had their photos professionaly taken and the Promise Auction raised £433 with some fantastic promises from parents and businesses in the community. The funds will be split to improve equipment outdoors and to provide an outside experience for the pre school children. Thanks to all our brilliant supporters as Southleigh continues to flourish.”
