A family fun day is to be held at Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens today (Saturday, May 12th) to celebrate Somerset Day.
The event will run from 11am-4pm to celebrate the unique day, with face painting, a tombola, barbecue, live music, games and refreshments.
The event also include music and entertainment, including: Viking display at 12pm; We Three are singing at 12.30pm; Twerzles singing from 2.30pm; and DJ Dave throughout the day.
Stalls will include a tombola, cake stall, BIARS book stall, ice cream, prints and painting, face painting, hook-a-duck, sponge throw stocks, 1610 fitness, Somerset Time For Youth, jewellery, Ritz bar, cosmetics, mead/ciders, and a BBQ.
The free-to-enter event is being organised by community group Burnham Events Social Team. Pictured above are several of the organisers at a previous event in Burnham-On-Sea.
