Brean Leisure Park will welcome over 30 stallholders to its Local Producers’ Fayre to celebrate Somerset Day on Sunday 13th May.
This free event will take place between 9am and 4pm, and the organisers say it will “showcase food, drink and craft producers from across the county.”
Thatcher’s Cider, Westcroft Cider & Cheese and Old Jollop will be representing the West country’s cider industry, with plenty of opportunities for tasting, along with a wide selection of craft stalls.
The traditional weekend open air market will be running alongside this event, with around 100 stalls selling a variety of goods.
Representatives and rescue craft from Burnham-on-Sea RNLI, BARB Search & Rescue and Burnham Coastguard Rescue Team will also be at the event, as will BBC Radio Somerset, who are stopping off for a live broadcast during the morning.
The Tavern will be open from 9am serving a traditional Somerset breakfast until 12 midday, followed by a Sunday Carvery which will be served from midday until 2pm, as well as an outdoor bar.
Characters from Holiday Resort Unity, including Buster the Pig and his friend Sally, will be making appearances throughout the day.
There will also be inflatables fun for children, as well as pygmy goats and donkeys from Sunshine Farm, and goody bags containing discounted passes for Brean Play and Brean Splash.
