Burnham-On-Sea’s farmers market returns to the town’s High Street this morning (Friday, July 26th) with a varied line-up of stalls selling fresh summer food.
Fresh produce stalls will be set-up, selling local produce including fruit, local meat, vegetables, cakes, cheese, pies, bakery items and milk from 9am-1pm.
A spokesman said: “We are excited to tell you we have Whitehouse Farm Cherries joining us on Friday.”
“It’s great when guest producers join us at different times throughout the year, it provides the market with variety and connects us to the seasons.”
“Whitehouse Farm has a four-acre cherry orchard in South Somerset, where the family-run enterprise grows twelve varieties of black dessert cherries. They will sell out, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment!”
“Thank you for continuing to support all our wonderful farmers, growers and producers.”
Visitors to the market will also be encouraged to Burnham’s wide range of shops and cafes in the town centre at the same time.
