A new downfall of snow was making driving conditions hazardous in Burnham-On-Sea on Monday evening (February 9th).
Heavy rain had gradually turned into sleet and then snow by 9.30pm.
With plunging temperatures and bitterly cold northerly winds, the snow quickly settled on cars and streets – repeating the scenes from last week when Burnham town centre got a covering.
However, the latest snowfall did not last long and had melted by Tuesday morning.
