While the snowfall in Burnham-On-Sea caused travel disruption for many residents, it was welcomed by others.
One of Burnham Swim and Sports Academy’s lifeguards, Hannah Bird, pictured above, even skied to work on Friday morning!
Sara Conklin-Cox, right, who runs Burnham Swim and Sports Academy, also pulled on her skis to glide along the seafront on Friday, as pictured here.
“They were perfect snow conditions for skiing,” Sara, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Many local children enjoyed a second day off school by building snowmen, having snowball fights and tobogganing.
Brent Knoll was among local hills busy with children sledging across the fields.
