School closures in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge area today due to snow

Several schools in the Burnham-On-Sea area have announced they will be closed today (Friday) following the snow for safety reasons.

The current list is as follows:

• King Alfred School, Highbridge – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Pawlett Primary School – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Churchfield Primary School & Nursery – Both the school and nursery will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• East Huntspill Primary School & Nursery – Both the school and nursery will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• West Huntspill Primary School  – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• West Huntspill Under Fives Playgroup  – will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• East Brent CofE Academy  – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Lympsham CofE Academy  – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Mark First School & Pre-School CofE Academy  – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• St Andrew’s CofE Junior School – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Burnham-On-Sea Infant School  – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Hugh Sexey CofE Middle School – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Kings Of Wessex School, Cheddar – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Bridgwater College Academy – All campuses will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Octopus Children’s Daycare –  will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Berrow CofE Primary School – School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Fairstart Nursey –  will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Brent Knoll CofE Primary School –  School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
• Fairlands Middle School –  School will be closed on Friday February 1st to all staff and pupils due to the weather.
