Snow arrived in Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (December 10th), with several hours of the white stuff creating wintry scenes.
It comes after 70mph winds caused disruption in the Burnham-On-Sea area on Sunday morning, but then the temperatures dropped to 1 degree centigrade during the afternoon, and the rain turned sleet and then to snow.
Snow fell from around 1pm and quickly coated lawns and some pavements in the Burnham-On-Sea area.
Motorists were urged to take extra care with the Met Office warning of slippery road conditions overnight during sub-zero temperatures.
