Burnham-On-Sea’s BARB Search & Rescue is seeking daring fundraisers to take part in an adrenaline-filled event.
The charity, which runs Burnham’s life-saving rescue hovercrafts and inshore rescue boats, is seeking people interested in joining a charity sky dive on May 26th.
“This is a great opportunity to take part in an exhilarating sky dive under professional guidance while raising funds for BARB’s life-saving work,” said organiser Adrian Cunningham.
“If you’ve always been keen to do a jump but have been putting it off, now’s the time to take the leap and do it! Invite your friends and family to jump with you or do it alone.”
The jump will take place above Salisbury Plains and is being organised by Go Sky Dive, a dedicated sky dive organisation.
Entry is £50 and the fundraising target is £300 for a 10,000ft jump or £400 for a 15,000ft jump.

Money raised will go towards BARB’s fundraising campaign for a new rescue hovercraft to replace its Light of Elizabeth craft.
