Five crewmembers from Burnham’s rescue hovercraft charity BARB are hoping Friday 13th June is lucky for them when they carry out a sponsored sky dive!
The group – Dan Lyons, Adrian Cunningham, Wayne Kilgallon, Chris Bess and John Ansell – are completing the sky dive from 10,000ft above Salisbury Plain to raise funds for BARB Search & Rescue.
Chris said: “We wanted to do something a bit different to raise funds. I’ve never done a sky dive before but I’ve always wanted to, so I’m really looking forwards to it.”
“The first date available for us all to do the jump was Friday the 13th June – fortunately, we’re not superstitious!”
