A Highbridge pub’s skittles team is celebrating making the finals of a regional tournament.
The Royalists, who are based at The Bristol Bridge Inn on the A38, will be travelling to Torquay next month to compete in the Blackthorn Skittles British Championships.
The competitive tournament includes scores of teams from across the South West, from afield as Gloucester and Cornwall to Cardiff.
The team’s Dave Perrett told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re delighted to have reached the last 16. It’s the first time that we’ve got this far so it is exciting.”
“The team has played really well and we just hope we can keep up the winning momentum!”
