A Burnham-On-Sea artist led a creative workshop at the town’s Apex Park on Saturday (May 22nd).
The special sketching and painting session was overseen by local artist Margaret Micklewright, who helped a group of youngsters draw wildlife and locations around the park.
The group, pictured here, started at the Apex Park Information Point and visited various spots around the lakes before their taking their artwork home with them. Margaret told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a “great success.”
The free event was funded by the Somerset Community Foundation who granted over £2,600 to the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group so that events and workshops can take place until June 2010.
