Silence was quite literally golden for fundraisers at a Burnham-On-Sea care home this week.
Staff and residents at Frith House in Steart Drive took part in a unique sponsored silence, led by the centre’s administrator, to raise money for a good cause.
A fundraising tea dance was also held during the event to raise more than £100.
Vicki Mitchell, Manager at Frith House, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The event was a lot of fun and we were delighted to raise £119 for British Heart Foundation.”
She thanked all those who had supported the event, which was held as part of the charity’s nationwide Rock Up Red fundraising day.
