Dozens of Burnham-On-Sea town centre businesses are taking part in a ‘spot the odd item in the window’ competition throughout this month.
The annual contest, which is run by Burnham-On-Sea Chamber Of Trade, sees the public being invited to find items that shops do not usually display in their windows.
The event runs from Saturday 4th April to Saturday 18th April and entry is free, with first prize being £100 cash and shopping voucher prizes for the runners-up.
Entry forms are available online here and from Burnham Tourist Information Centre, participating businesses, local schools and holiday parks.
Chairman Alex Turco said: “So that shoppers can find out about the wide range of shops in the town, we have designed this competition to test their observational skills. We very much hope that this free, fun activity will attract more people into the town centre to enter.”
Among the businesses taking part is Burnham-On-Sea.com, which will have an item hidden on its front page!
