These were the scenes in Burnham-On-Sea and Brean over the weekend as an early autumn heatwave brought out beachgoers.
Temperatures peaked at 23°c (73°F) in Burnham-On-Sea today (Sunday), encouraging people to enjoy strolls along Burnham beach (above) and at Brean (right).
The waters of the Bristol Channel were warm enough for beachgoers to enjoy a paddle, as shown here at Brean on Sunday morning.
However, forecasters say the balmy conditions will not last. The weather is set to feel more autumnal during the week ahead, with light rain and cooler, breezier conditions.
