A new series of fun classes for mums and their babies has launched this week in Burnham-On-Sea.
Sensory Time is organising the new classes every Wednesday during term-time at 9.30am at the BAY Centre in Cassis Close.
Organiser Hayley Azzopardi says: “Sensory Time was launched in 2014 and has continued to grow and flourish. We have several classes in the area and each one provides a safe enabling environment that support children through child-led exploration.”
“Sensory Time Classes are an opportunity for your child to explore all five senses in a safe and enabling environment. Classes are pre-planned with a key focus on developing senses, but cover many areas of a child’s learning and development.”
“Class leaders have experience working alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage which sets standards for children’s learning development and care.”
“Sensory Time Classes provide your child with opportunities that allow them to learn, develop and grow using various tools, materials and mark making activities combined with music and movement.”
“Our classes have a different theme every week and incorporate special events and celebrations such as Mother’s Day and Chinese New Year.”
“We offer weekly classes, which always have the same floor plan and design to offer continuity. Your child has the freedom to choose what they play with and when.”
Sensory Time Classes provide children with the opportunity to develop and explore their senses using various tools, materials, mark making activities and song.
Activities include Glow Play, Sing & Sign, Tummy Time, Parachute Play, Music & Movement, Treasure Baskets, Messy Play and more. For futher information, contact Hayley Azzopardi on 01278 550 259 or click here.
