Sensational Kids Somerset celebrated their third birthday party at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Social club on Saturday afternoon (July 22nd).
The event was well attended by members, who enjoyed party games, music and refreshments before cutting a birthday cake to celebrate the milestone.
“Thank you to all the families who came along, provided party food, and who celebrated this special day,” said the group’s Vice Chair, Sarah Rendell.
“Special thanks to everyone on our committee who worked so hard, not only organising this party, but for all their hard work in helping at our group sessions and fundraising events.”
Sensational Kids Somerset is a support group for children in the Burnham-On-Sea area with additional needs and their families.
It is a fun, social group that provides friendship and new experiences in a safe, controlled and non-judgmental environment to help to build confidence and independence.
“We are all about building a community of support and understanding, raising awareness at the same time as empowering children and their families,” added Sarah.
