The event, held at Berrow village hall, was hailed a great success by organisers.
“It was a jolly and entertaining afternoon with lots of audience participation,” the group’s Sandra Squire told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The main entertainment was kindly provided by the children of Berrow School Choir who sung several catchy songs and were greatly admired.”
“Members of the club also served a tea beset to the Ritz which was followed by a ‘sing song’ of many well remembered wartime songs.”
“The afternoon was a great success and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves.”
