Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to a motorway service station on Monday morning (January 27th) after a car was alight.
One crew from Burnham fire station was sent to the Welcome Break car park at Sedgemoor Services between junctions 22-21 of the M5 motorway at about 10am.
They quickly extinguished the blaze in the engine compartment of the car before making the vehicle safe.
The cause was believed to have been accidental.
