Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to Sedgemoor Services on Sunday afternoon (August 4th) following reports of a small fire.
Crews were called to the southbound M5 services near Burnham-On-Sea shortly after 2.30pm.
“Two fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea and one from Cheddar attended a report of a fire in a commercial cooking unit,” said a spokesman.
“On-site staff had already used two fire blankets on the fire, so crews inspected and confirmed it as out. The fire was confirmed as accidental ignition. Crews left duty of care with staff.”
