Sedgemoor District Council has elected a new Chairman this week.
Councillor Mike Cresswell, pictured, has been sworn in as Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council at its annual meeting.
Mike, a Carer with Somerset Care, is a Conservative councillor for the ward of Bridgwater Fairfax.
He will be accompanied on official engagements by his wife, June.
Burnham-On-Sea North district councillor Paul Herbert has become the new Vice Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council.
Mike Cresswell replaces Cllr Ian Dyer as Chairman who reached the end of his two year term in the role.
