A final call for entries has been made for local businesses from the Burnham-On-Sea area to enter this year’s Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards.
Organisers, Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce, say entries have come in thick and fast during the first few weeks but there are a few categories that are light on applications.
Among the categories are the Year’s Best Employer, Innovative Business, Family Business and New Business. The Awards will be presented at a Dinner in Bridgwater’s McMillan Theatre on March 21st.
The process to enter has been simplified and businesses can check the awards website here to enter. The closing date for entering is 12 February 2019.
“The benefits of entering the Awards include attending a gala evening celebrating local success and the publicity that comes from being judged a leader in your chosen field,” says a spokesman.
“Past winners have found that the process of entering has helped raise staff morale as well as being an excuse to take a look at what has been achieved over the year and recognise outstanding performance from teams and individuals.”
Alongside Sedgemoor District Council, sponsors of the event include accountants Milsted Langdon, Bridgwater Gateway, Bridgwater & Taunton College and solicitors Clarke Willmott with a number of other businesses and organisations sponsoring individual awards.
