Families and wildlife-lovers are heading to Secret World Wildlife Rescue, near Burnham-On-Sea, this Bank Holiday weekend for a unique opportunity to get up close to British wildlife.
The summer months are always the busiest at Secret World and the team has taken in hundreds of injured and orphaned wild animals over the last few weeks.
At the centre’s August Bank Holiday Open Weekend, which runs on 24th, 25th and 26th, visitors can see some of the animals being cared for, find out what to do if you find an animal that seems to be in trouble, and learn how to support wildlife in the area.
Secret World Wildlife Rescue is open each of the days from 10am-4pm and is located at New Road, East Huntspill, Highbridge, Somerset TA9 3PZ.
