Over 250 people attended an Arabian-themed fundraising event in aid of East Huntspill based wildlife rescue charity Secret World on Saturday night (November 20th).
The charity’s annual fundraising ball was held at Cadbury House Hotel near Congresbury, where the guests enjoyed a three course meal, belly dancing, table magic, auctions and a casino.
Locally-based belly dance troupe The Desert Divas and Zafirah, a Middle Eastern Dancer, were among the entertainers.
And the guests rose to the occasion by ‘dressing to impress’ in colourful themed Arabian costumes, as pictured here.
Secret World’s Fundraising Coordinator, Lynette Preston, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The ball was a great success – a wonderful fun evening that raised much-needed funds for our charity.”
