Arabian theme for Secret World’s annual fundraising charity ball

-

Locally-based belly dance troupe The Desert Divas will be one of the attractions at a special fundraising event being held for East Huntspill wildlife rescue charity Secret World in November.

The charity promises to whisk you away on their magic carpet to a land full of eastern promises, including a sumptuous three course meal, belly dancing, table magic, auctions and a casino.

The charity’s fundraising ball has an Arabian Nights theme and is being held from 7pm on 20th November at Cadbury House Hotel near Congresbury, Bristol.

Guests will be entertained by the professional talents of belly dance troupe The Desert Divas as well as an on-stage solo performance by Zafirah, a versatile and expressive performer of Middle Eastern Dance.

Magic will be performed throughout the evening by James Went, a Cardiff-based magician and guests are being encouraged to ‘dress to impress’ or come in themed Arabian costumes.

Secret World’s Fundraising Coordinator, Lynette Preston, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The ball is a fun event but we must not forget the reason why we are holding it, which is to raise much-needed funds to enable our charity to continue.”

“This event is the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and work colleagues for a pre-Christmas celebration and we will guarantee you will have a night to remember.”

Tickets are available to buy by calling 01278 783250.
