Burnham-On-Sea has been featured in a new list of the UK’s top 25 best seaside holiday resorts.
The travel website Trip Advisor has compiled the list of growing seaside towns in the UK that are ‘leading the great British holiday renaissance’, with Burnham included.
Ian Jefferies, Burnham’s Tourism Manager, said: “It’s marvellous news that our small resort has received recognition as a leading up and coming resort.”
“It shows that the great efforts being made by the accommodation providers, business owners, councils and community groups are having an effect.”
Alongside Burnham are other resorts such as Folkestone, Southend, Cleethorpes, Tenby, Seaton, Padstow and Eastbourne.
