A traditional silver band will be entertaining walkers along Burnham-On-Sea’s seafront during the height of the tourist season.
Sedgemoor District Council has this week given Burtle Silver Band permission to perform on The Esplanade on a site between the jetty and the Bay View Cafe.
The band, pictured, will be in action on three Sundays during the summer season – the 10th and 24th July and 4th September.
Tim Mander, Sedgemoor District Council’s Property Manager, who set up the agreement, told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week: “It is the first time for many years a band has regularly performed on The Esplanade and it is a welcome additional attraction that I am sure will be well received by locals and visitors alike.”
